In data acquisition system,a low-pass filter is frequently used as an anti-aliasing filter to filter out or to attenuate high-frequency noise. Because of the poor frequency characteristics of passive filters,active filters are often adopted in the application with high accuracy demand. The frequency characteristics of two common active low-pass filters are discussed in detail,and their application examples as well as the detailed contrastive analysis are offered.
