An approach to Data integration and standardization for GIS project of Xining City

对西宁市综合地理信息系统在数据整合方面的工作进行了论述,通过对数据整合过程中碰到的一些问题进行分析并找出相应的解决办法,为其他城市的综合地理信息系统的数据整合提供借鉴。

Data integration and standardization is one of the most important steps for GIS, and this paper is mainly focused on some creative data handling methods in this field, that is applied for Xining GIS project. By analyzing the requirements of customer and the problems during the practice, this article presents good theoretical and practical solutions, which can be used as an ideal example and model for data integration and standardization in other GIS projects.
