Brief Analysis on Differences in Design and Production Between City Image Map and Ordinary Line Map

城市影像地图与普通线划地图是两种不同的地图表现形式,两者既有共同点,又存在较大的差别。本文通过地理底图、符号注记使用、信息载负量、制作流程等方面的比较,简要分析了两者在设计制作上的差异,从而为城市影像地图与普通线划地图的设计制作在理论上与方法上提供了参考依据。

City image map and ordinary line map are two different forms of map display. They share common points and major differences as well. By comparison in geographic base map, use of symbol marks, amount of information capacity, processing of production and so on,the paper analyzes briefly the differences in design and production between them,thus providing valuable references in theory and method for the design and production of city image map and ordinary line map.
