摘要
本文将中国各地区劳均产出增长率分解为效率改进和资本深化的贡献,经验分析表明地区差距持续扩散的动因在于非希克斯中性技术进步诱致的效率改进,东部地区的产出前沿边界提升幅度明显超过中西部地区,在竞争机制推动下增进了技术进步对经济增长的贡献;中西部加快要素市场建设,并促进开发利用同本地资源与要素禀赋相适宜的高效技术,具有调整产业结构、缓解区域差距的政策要义。
This paper decomposes the regional labor- productivity of China into components attributable to efficiency improvement and capital deepening. The conclusion indicats that regional economic disparities of China are driven mainly by effi- ciency improvement, more exactly, by technological change which is not Hicks- neutral. Driven by market competition, eastern areas have a greater marginal out- put range and thus highlight the contributions from technology improve- ments. Middle and western areas should make futl use of the technology conformed to its endowment structure to relieve Chinese regional disparities.
