黄山汤口边擦音声母这种特殊的语音现象是其自身语音系统演变的结果。汤口方言[tth]声母的演变可以表述为:知二和庄组合流为[ts]组,之后和精组合流一起变为[tth],知三和章组合流为[t]组,但来自止摄和通摄的部分字今读[tth]声母。

This paper discusses and analyses the origin and characteristic of the initial[]of Lateral Fricative in Tangkou（汤口） dialect,and confirms its character by comparing it with the surrounding dialects,then points out the especial pronunciation characteristic is the result that the pronunciation system of Tangkou（汤口） dialect developed by itself.The development of the initials [t t^h ] in Tangkou（汤口） dialect：Zhi＇er（知二） and Zhuang（庄） groups were incorporated in [ts] groups,then changed into [t t^h ] with Jing（精） groups together,and Zhisan（知三） and Zhang（章） groups were incorporated in [t] groups except some words that reads the initial [t t^h ]comeing from Zhishe（止摄） and Tongshe（通摄）.
