On January 13,CASC President Ma Xingrui donated 10 sets of small satellite stations to Chen Lei,Minister of Water Resources.These small satellite stations are specially prepared for the hydrological stations in remote areas.A set of the small satellite station includes a communications satellite VSAT,a satellite TV receiving station and a TV set,of which the satellite TV receiving station is used for receiving the TV programs from Chinasat-9 communications satellite and the VSAT is used for hydrological information transmission and data networking.
