Promoting Students' Fundamental Practical Ability by Developing Experimental Teaching Center

根据"发挥区域与学科优势,构筑材料类三级实践载体,培养具有创新意识的工程应用型人才"国家教改项目研究内容,通过实验教学体系改革、优化教学方法、改善师资队伍、规范实验室管理等措施,完善材料科学与工程实验教学中心,培养学生的基础实践能力,建设具有区域优势的材料类国家实验教学示范中心。

According to the national teaching reformation project titled ＂Culturing qualified engineering personnel with innovative thoughts based on the advanced local discipline and three grades of practical supports＂, a series of reforma- tion events were carried out including the optimization on experimental teaching system and teaching methods, the im- provement on teaching groups, and the regulation on managements, etc. The experimental teaching center of materials science and engineering was well developed to promote the students＇ fundamental practical abilities.
