Since a section of Shanghai UMT Pearl Line is constructed on the former Songhu(Wusong - Shanghai) Railway and Huhang(Shanghai - Hangzhou)Inner Line, the author attaches great importance to the optimizing management of the time limit of the removal project, which includes buildings, pipelines and other railway facilities within the former railway lines, and discusses the concrete steps concerning the arrangement of connecting operation before the due time, the reduction in the influence of a delayed working procedure, the reinforced management of key sections as well as the relation between the time limit and the cost of the whole project.
