The Outlook of International and Domestic Situation of Climate Change and Scientific and Technological Work on Climate Change

人为因素导致的气候变化问题已经对人类社会带来深刻的影响。减缓气候变化的主要办法是减少温室气体排放、增加对CO2的吸收及CO2的收集和储存。在没有显著的技术发展和进步的条件下,减排温室气体必将影响一个国家的能源、经济和社会发展。我国已经开展了一系列气候变化研究工作,如气候变化政策、气候变化科学、减排温室气体技术(能源、工业、农业和林业技术)、气候变化影响和适应研究等,为应对气候变化提供强大支撑。

Climate change induced by human factors has brought effect on human society. Major methods of slowing down climate change are reducing the emission of green house gases, and increasing the absorption, collection and storage of carbon dioxide. Without remarkable technological development and advancement, reduction of emission of green house gases will restraint a country＇s energy, economy and social development. China has undertaken series of research on climate change, such as climate change policy, climate change science, technology for reducing emission of green house gases （ energy, industry, agriculture, and forestry technology） , effect of climate change and adaptation, providing great support for response to climate change.
