摘要
《江北日记》是1872年朝鲜谍报人员崔宗范等秘密潜入鸭绿江北岸中国境内,进行侦探后,留下的记录。日记中反映了当时清朝政府对鸭绿江流域封禁政策的虚实、朝鲜北部边民犯越国境移居中国境内鸭绿江流域的原因、鸭绿江中上游地区人口、民间自治机构、生产生活等社会状况,具有重要的史料价值。
Jiangbei Journal was written by Korean secret agent Cui Zongfan after he and his fellow men sneaked into China's territory of the northern side of Yalu river to do some detective work in 1872.The Journal has historical value for depicting the performance of Qing government' inclosing policy to the Yalu river region,the reason for Korea's northern borderland civilians to transfer border to reside in China's Yalu river region,as well as the population,civil autonomous institution and social life and production in the area.
