频率分布曲线和概率累积曲线在沉积物粒度数据分析中应用的对比 被引量:30

摘要 本文以乌兰布和沙漠钻孔岩芯沉积物为例,测量了其中沙丘砂和沙丘底部湖相沉积物的粒度。通过对比和分析同一样品在粒度概率累积曲线和频率曲线上所反映的信息,发现概率累积曲线能更直观、准确、定量地显示沉积物粒度组成及各特征组分的分选性,包含有比频率曲线更丰富的沉积环境信息。 A comparison of sedimentary information derived from grain size frequency distribution curves and from probability cumulative curves are made by using grain size data of core sediments obtained from the Ulan Buh Desert. More sedimentary information is found to be obtained from the probability cumulative curve comprehensively and scientifically than from the grain size percentage distribution curve, especially some numerical information of the grain size characteristics, such as slope of a segment line which can visually diseribe sorting features of the sediment, and relative content of the specific component.
