两大网管协议SNMP和CMIP集成策略的研究

A Study on the Integration of SNMP and CMIP

随着计算机网络规模的不断扩大以及复杂程度的不断增加，网络管理的重要性日益突出。ＳＮＭＰ（ＳｉｍｐｌｅＮｅｔｗｏｒｋＭａｎａｇｅｍｅｎｔＰｒｏｔｏｃｏｌ）和ＣＭＩＰ（ＣｏｍｍｏｎＭａｎａｇｅｍｅｎｔＩｎｆｏｒ－ｍａｔｉｏｎＰｒｏｔｏｃｏｌ）是目前计算机界和电信界使用的最重要的两大网络管理协议。本文从如何同时综合使用这两大网管平台出发，比较ＳＮＭＰ和ＣＭＩＰ各自特点，阐述了ＳＮＭＰ和ＣＭＩＰ的集成策略，讨论了如何在委托代理（ＰｒｏｘｙＡｇｅｎｔ）上实现两者ＭＩＢ（ＭａｎａｇｅｍｅｎｔＩｎｆｏｒｍａｔｉｏｎＢａｓｅ）的转换。

With the expansion of computer network and the increase of its complexity, network management is more and more important.SNMP and CMIP are two most populated network management protocols in computer and telecommunication. This paper compares these two protocols, discusses the stratagem of how to integrate them and exchange their Management Information Base over proxy Agent.
