"极低频探地(WEM)工程"是国家发改委批准的"十一五国家重大科学技术基础设施建设项目"之一,极低频(0.1～300Hz)无线电磁法(WEM法)是一种由人工产生极低频电磁波并能有效覆盖数千千米和更大深度探测的创新技术,也是世界电磁探测技术的最新发展,并将在资源探测和地震预测中发挥重要的作用。
The ELF Engineering Projet for Underground Exploration is one of the ＂major national science and technology infrastructure project＂ approved by the Chinese government.ELF（0.1～300 Hz）wireless electromagnetic exploration technique is not only a kind of artificial electromagnetic source,which can cover with thousands of kilometers and more deeper detection effectively,but also is the newest development of electromagnetic exploration technique over the world,and play significant role in exploring resource and predicating earthquake.
