摘要
劳伦斯的《儿子与情人》演绎了一个个畸态的爱情悲剧。在这些情爱悲剧中,女主人公为某种欲望所驱使,满怀信心地去寻找自己理想的情侣,可最后都是无果而终。小说中所有人物的行动都可以归结为三个动词:"寻找"、"找到"、"失去"。这三个动词组成一个"寻找—找到—失去"的叙事模式,在这模式中人物的活动得以展开,性格得以呈现,而劳伦斯也借以讲述他的故事,建立起一个"理想的叙事",并透过这些人物形象深刻地反映了他对当时社会问题尤其两性关系的思考。
D.H.Lawrence＇s Sons and Lovers represents some dysplastic love stories,in which the heroines try in vain to look for ideal lovers.All their activities can be summed up to such three verbs as searching,finding and losing and these three verbs compose a narrative pattern in which the characters＇ activities are carried out,their personalities developed,and by which Lawrence tells his story and builds up an ideal narrative reflecting his pondering over some social problems especially over sexual relations.
