PDF及其在电子出版领域的应用

PDF AND IT'S APPLICATION TO ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING

本文论述了ＰＤＦ的特点、结构、产生方法以及它在电子出版领域应用。着重将ＰＤＦ与ＰＳ和ＨＴＭＬ进行了比较。详细地解析了ＰＤＦ的结构，并阐述了目前生成ＰＤＦ的方法。最后就采用ＰＤＦ进行电子出版的步骤与方式进行了探讨，并进一步展望了ＰＤＦ的应用前景。

This paper discusses the characteristics and structure of PDF(Portable Document Format), the way how to produce PDF and its application in electronic publishing area. First, we introduce the development of PDF, and give comparisons between PDF and PS, as well as PDF and HTML. Then we analyse the structure of PDF in detail. After that, we present the approaches to produce PDF. Finally, we discuss how to apply this wide-used format to electronic publishing, and its influence on publishing area as well.
