The bridge arm short problems of the thyristor rectifiers are analyzed in this paper. The physical phenomena and cvolutional process of the bridge arm short, dealing with the controlled and uncontrolled three-phase bridge rectifier circuits, are discussed in detail The analyses are verified by computer simulation. And some available conclusions are also gaven.
