The preparation of the silk fibroin finishing agent and the finishing process for cotton fabric is summarized. The research mainly focused on the discussion of the influence of the different silk fibroin degeneration time on the properties of cotton fabrics. The results showed that, under certain conditions, when the best silk fibroin degradation for 120 min, after the cross-linking treatment through the dip-coated silk fibroin membrane pressure the mechanical properties, wrinkle nature of moisture absorption and whiteness of cotton fabrics were significantly improved.
