中西艺术精神比较

本文主要从中西比较的角度,论述对中西艺术精神的思考。中西思想文化的比较不仅仅局限在哲学、历史方面,还涉及到审美意识和艺术方面的一些区别,从这些方面看中西方文化,几乎是从根子上所不同的格局。但实际上人类都是相通的,哪怕存在巨大的文化差异,原则上说也是可以了解的。这种了解建立在比较之上,我们要了解西方人和西方的文化,艺术和审美这个环节是不可或缺的。同样,西方要了解中国这个历史悠久、古老的文化,艺术和审美的研究也必然要深入到我们文化心理的深处。关于《中西艺术精神的比较》这个主题,本文分两个层次展开论述。第一个层次是从哲学和美学这个层次来谈谈中西艺术精神的结构。除了要从外部的使用材料或者技法做些比较,而且还要从两种文化心理的内在区别这个方面进行一种比较深入的、层次较高的分析。第二个层面就是要从中西各个艺术门类分别比较它们的特色,并分析中国的诗歌、美术、音乐、书法、戏剧、雕刻、建筑和西方相应的艺术门类之间的区别和特色究竟何在。

Abstract：The present article discusses thoughts on Chinese and Western art spirit mainly in the perspective of com- parison between China and the West. Comparison between Chinese and Western culture is not limited to the aspects of philosophy and history; it also concerns some differences in aesthetic awareness and art. Chinese and Western cul- ture, seen from the afore - mentioned perspectives, is almost basically different. However, human beings are connect- ed; even if there exist huge culture differences, it is theoretically comprehensible. Such comprehension is based on comparison ; in order to understand Westerners and Western culture, art and aesthetics are indispensible. Likewise, if Westerners want to understand ancient Chinese culture, study on art and aesthetics must reach the innermost part of our cultural psychology. As far as ＂ Comparison of Chinese and Western Art Spirit＂ is concerned, the present article discusses the subject in two levels. The first level is on the structure of Chinese and Western art spirit on the philo- sophical and aesthetic level. Besides comparing external materials or techniques, it also has further analysis in the as- pect of internal differences between the two cultural psychologies. The second level is on their characteristics com- pared respectively in various Chinese and Western art categories, analyzing the differences and uniqueness between Chinese poetry, fine arts, music, calligraphy, drama, sculpture, architecture, and their corresponding Western art categories.
