摘要
新疆石窟不仅有非常丰富的题材内容,而且其艺术水准也非常高。但是,国内外许多人对此并不十分了解。甚至学术界在论述中国四大石窟时,却从不提及新疆石窟。佛教从印度先传入新疆,再传入中原。不了解新疆石窟艺术,是很难弄清中国佛教文化根源的。本文不仅从文献着手,而且特别注重图象考古,对研究中国佛教文化艺术有重要意义。
Xinjiang cave fresco is not only rich in themes and contents, but also excellent in artistic level; however, many people do not know much about it. When scholars are discussing Four Greatest Caves in China, they even do not mention Xinjiang cave. Buddhism is spread first from India to Xinjiang, then to Mid -China. Without knowing Xinjiang cave art, it is difficult to understand Chinese Buddhist culture. The present article begins with literature and pays special attention to image archeology, which is of vital significance to study Chinese Buddhist culture and art.
