纺织辞书中术语使用的几个问题

术语是科技文献内容的主要载体,是科技翻译的关键。文章归纳了英汉纺织辞书术语翻译中的几个常见问题及其解决方法,并指出,纺织辞书编纂者要查询汉语科技名词、纺织行业标准、汉语主题词表和权威工具书,选择最准确、最地道的表达方式。

Terminologies are the main carrier of information in science and technology, and also the key to scientific translation. Based on the author＇s research and experience, this paper examines some problems in translation of the textile terms. The author points out that compilers of textile dictionaries should check the Chinese technical terms, the textile industry standards, the Chinese keywords lists and some other authority books, and try to find the best expression. Moreover, accumulating of general knowledge is also necessary for dictionary compilers.
