The modernization of transportation is the necessary condition and indispensable part of the transformation of modernization and development of urban economy.From the late 1920s to the mid-1930s,Chen Jitang mastered the political and military power of Guangdong.He put forward the plan of constructing the early modern transportation in Guangdong when he was in power.With the construction during the period when he was in power,Guangzhou experienced a quick development of modern transportation construction.This sped up the development of modernization of Guangzhou,and promoted powerfully the development of modernization of the whole city.
