The Way to Tell the True from the False about Zhao-chuang-xian-bi

《枣窗闲笔》提到的与曹雪芹有关的信息是自相矛盾的。《枣窗闲笔》的作者与"脂评本"中的"脂研斋"在说话口气、表达习惯等如此相似;他们都推崇八十回本《红楼梦》,提出"程高续书说"。但从《枣窗闲笔》的诸多自相矛盾的话及目的意图看,此书是为迎合"新红学派"观点而造,不具备文献价值。

What Zhao-chuang-xian-bi has mentioned is contradictory to the information by Cao Xueqing.The tune and the habit of the speech by the author of Zhao-chuang-xian-bi is very similar to what is mentioned in ＂Zhi-yan-zhai＂ of the book ＂Zhi-ping-ben＂.They all support The Dream of Red Chamber with 80 chapters and put forward the view of ＂continuation by Cheng Gao＂.However,based on so many contradictory words and intentions in the book Zhao-chuang-xian-bi,it is published to meet the need of ＂new view on The Dream of Red Chamber＂.Therefore,it is not of great value in terms of literature.
