村庄社会资本与居民收入差距的实证分析

Empirical Analysis on Impact of Village-Level Social Capital on Income Inequality

本文运用中国社会综合调查(CGSS 2005)数据分析了村庄社会资本对村内居民收入差距的影响。首先通过因子分析对社会资本变量进行了度量,提取了三个公因子:互助度、信任度和参与度,然后在考虑了社会资本变量内生性的基础上进行了回归分析。研究发现,反映村庄社会资本的三个因子仅有互助度对居民收入差距的缩小有显著的正向影响,而信任度和参与度对居民收入差距的影响不明显。

This paper analyzed the impact of village-level social capital on income inequality with the data from CGSS. Firstly,we used the method of factor analysis to extract three factors：mutual aid,trust and public participation. Then we considered the endogencity of social capital for regression analysis,and found that the mutual aid between residents of the same village could lessen the village-level income inequality,and trust and public participation could not reduce the village-level income inequality remarkably.
