On the basic of reviewing the shortcoming of the traditional land-use alternation survey methods, this paper introduces the 3S technology and its integration. It focuses on the aplications of the 3S technology in the land-use alteration survey. Several instances were given to show the main steps of the land-use alteration survey. It can instruct the statistic work in the land use survey.
