On the analysis of current situation of the planting and processing of Zhangjiakou potato industry development, the main advantages and the five major problems of Zhangjiakou potato industry, this paper further puts forward five aspects of development, setting the concept of industrialization development of potatoes; constructing the quality special potato base; strengthening the government support of leading enterprise; setting up the agricultural brand concept; and developing the green industry of potato.
