现代性具有特定的时间和地域特征,其实质是传统社会向现代社会转变过程中出现的"断裂"。社会学起源于现代性的来临,其研究对象是现代性出现以来所产生的社会世界,即发达的现代社会。现代性是"社会学概论"课程教学的逻辑起点,在教学过程中,只有把握住这一逻辑起点,才能帮助学生解决相关的疑惑与难题。

Modernity is of special time and district characteristics,and its essence is the tremendous break between the traditional society and the modern society.Sociology originated from modernity.Its study object was developed modern society,which came after modernity.Modernity was the logical starting point of ＂An introduction to sociology＂ course.Only after we grasped the logical starting point in the course of teaching,can we help the students solve the questions and problems correlated to it.
