In May 24, 2010, the State Council approved the Planning of Yangtze River Delta Area, which is the important opportunity for a new round of development in the area. Through the vigorous propelling and effective coordination of the government, Yangtze River Delta Area will give full play to the role of market in distributing resources, develop innovative economy, upgrade the industrial structure, change the mode of economic development, and take the road of integrating urban and rural areas, aiming to take the lead in building a well-off society in an around way, realizing modernization, and becoming a world-class metropolitan group with great competitiveness.
