摘要
自20世纪70年代弗拉维尔提出了元认知这一概念以来,元认知在大学英语教学中得到了广泛的应用。实践证明,元认知对听力教学有重要的指导作用和实践意义,能够帮助学生有效的把握听力处理过程,提高英语听力课堂的教学效果,并提高学生自主学习和自我监管的能力。本文从元认知角度探讨了英语听力课堂教学和学习策略,认为元认知策略在听力课堂上的应用有利于实现《大学英语课程教学要求》所提出的听力教学目标。
Since its development by J.H. FlaveU in the 1970's, meta-coguiton has been widely used in college English teaching. The theory plays an important role in guiding English listening teaching, improving the students' ability to control the listening process and manage their learning activities. This paper explores the meta-cognitive strategies for English teaching and learning and illustrates how they help achieve the goals of English listening teaching.
