摘要
本文基于顺应理论和文学翻译的特点,探讨了顺应理论对小说翻译的解释力。笔者认为,语境是一个动态的概念,以交际者为中心,以语言使用者为指向,语境决定了语言的运用。译者在翻译过程中选择语言表达手段,须顺应原文的各种语用因素,最终体现语用翻译的特点。
The present paper,based on the Adaptation Theory and the characteristics of literary translation,illustrates the interpretation of Adaptation Theory in novel translation.It argues that context is a dynamic concept,with communicators as the center and users as the oriented.Context determines the use of languages,so translators must adapt to various pragmatic factors in the source text so as to know how to express it while translating it in order to embody the characteristics of pragmatic translation.
