Study on Life and Works of Scholar Chen Renyu in South Song Dynasty

南宋学者陈仁玉撰有《菌谱》一卷流传于世,是目前所知世界上最早的关于大型真菌的专著。陈仁玉的生平及著作不见载于《宋史》,因此笔者在地方志、文集、诗话、丛书之中相关的零星史料基础上加以考索和综合,以期能勾勒出陈仁玉著作和生平的概况。

The widespread one volume A Series of Macro fungi, which was written by scholar Chen Renyu in South Song dynasty, is known as the earliest work on macrofungi in the world so far： Description on life and works of Chen Renyu cannot be found in History of Song Dynasty, but in some chorographies, collection of writings, comments on poetry, collection of ancient books： Therefore, the author manages to gain a general description on life and works of Chen Renyu by studying materials derived from these documents.
