The seepage causes of Heping Dam in Changxing County are analyzed in detail in the article,in terms of dam foundation seepage,dam body seepage and dam abutment seepage.The design and construction techniques of clay backfill with curtain grouting are focused on in order to handle seepage-proofing.The reinforcement results fully illustrates the effect of the techniques,which provide a reference for similar construction.
