This paper introduces the structural design characteristics and construction methods of bowstring arch bridge with pre-stress by truss and diagonal members,taking the traffic bridge in Tiger-pool Reservoir,Huzhou for example,which is direct cross the flood discharging channel.It also studies the mechanical properties and the construction program of the bridge,revealing that the bridge type of bowstring arch bridge by diagonal members deserves special attention.
