2009年云南省的区域合作取得了许多重要成果,与周边国家的贸易往来走出低谷,增长速度超过年初预期,对外投资增长明显,其他各项合作也发展顺利。2009年云南的区域合作还遇上了"桥头堡"战略等重大机遇,但也面临着后金融危机时期的不确定性因素、竞争压力增大等诸多困难。如何抓住"桥头堡"的历史机遇,实现对外开放和区域合作的突破性发展,是云南省面临的重大挑战。

In terms of Yunnan Province's regional cooperation, 2009 was a year full of difficulties and opportunities. Under the serious impact of global financial crisis, Yunnan Province still achieved many important results in regional cooperation. The trade with the neighboring countries has been out of the woods, the economy growing faster than expected, overseas investment increasing significantly, other cooperation also developing smoothly. In addition, Yunnan's regional cooperation in 2009 not only met the 'bridgehead' strategic and other major opportunities, but also faced increasing uncertainty, more competitive pressure and many other difficulties in the period after financial crisis. How to seize the historic opportunity of 'bridgehead' strategy to achieve breakthrough in the development of opening up and regional cooperation is a great challenge for Yunnan Province .
