Survey of journals of local comprehensive universities and the implications

在对全国9所地方综合性大学所办的13家学报的办刊情况进行调查和统计的基础上进行分析,获得了宝贵的经验和有益启示:学校高度重视、主编办刊思路清晰是学报发展的关键;质量取胜、特色发展是必由之路;开辟优质稿源、吸引高水平稿件是重中之重;增加学报评价指标中的地域因子是必然要求。

Based on the survey and statistical analysis of the 13 journal offices of 9 local comprehensive univer sities, valuable experience and useful suggestions were obtained as follows： universities leaders and editors in chief should put enough emphasis on and have clear thinking of the quality and feature of the journal, which are crucial factors to journal development. Moreover, it is of ultimate importance to open up sources of high quality papers and increase the geographical factor in journal evaluation.
