服务贸易对国际大都市建设的作用

Role of Trade in Services on Construction of International Metropolis

国际大都市的形成与服务贸易的发展具有密切联系。作为服务贸易基础的服务业过去和现在一直是城市经济发展的引擎。服务贸易自由化进程将给国际大都市建设做出关键的贡献。本文将首先通过历史和现在的一些实例分析服务贸易与城市发展之间的复杂关系,然后分析国际大都市服务经济的发展如何调整国际经济环境并在何种程度上与服务贸易自由化联系在一起,最后分析在国内外争夺"中心城市"的态势下上海"四个中心"建设应采取的战略。

There is a close relationship between the formation of international metropolis and the development of trade in services. Trade in services-based service industry has always been and is still the engine of growth of urban economy. Liberalization of trade in services may bring a decisive contribution to the construction of international metropolis. This paper tries to analyze the complex relationship between the trade in services and the growth of a city in giving fi rst of all some instances drawn from the history and the present, then to analyze how development of the service economy in metropolis will shape the international economic environment and to what extent it is linked to trade liberalization in services, and lastly to analyze the trend of competition at home and abroad for ＂center city＂, in trying to make strategic recommendations for the construction of Shanghai ＂four centers＂.
