摘要
利用广义非线性薛定谔方程,研究了零色散光纤中交叉相位调制不稳定性,分析了高阶色散和高阶非线性系数对增益谱的影响.发现当光脉冲工作在零色散附近时,交叉相位调制不稳定性主要取决于四阶色散,它使增益谱变宽.正五阶非线性使增益谱的谱宽和峰值增大,负五阶非线性使增益谱的谱宽和峰值减小.
The gain spectrum of cross-phase modulation(XPM) instability in the region of minimum group-velocity dispersion of fiber is investigated based on extended nonlinear Schrdinger equation.The effects of high-order dispersion and high-order nonlinearity to the gain spectra are analyzed.The results show that the fourth-order dispersion,which increases the width of the gain spectra,dominates the modulation instability when the second-order dispersion approaches the minimum value at the zero dispersion wavelengths.The positive quintic nonlinearity will make the width and the peak value of the gain spectra larger.The negative quintic nonlinearity will make the width and the peak value of the gain spectra smaller.
