A Review of the Development of CNG Bus in Beijing

日前《北京青年报》报道：2010年车辆报废更新完成后,北京公交集团公司所属运营车辆将100%达到北京市环保标准要求。更新车辆将达到国Ⅴ排放标准。其中,1999年作为向国庆50周年献礼,北京公交集团公司首批300辆BK6111CNG型天然气公交车（图1）服役10年已达报废年限,于近日拆解。

Recently, Beijing Public Transport Holdings, Ltd. had decided to terminate the services of its 300 buses—model BK6111CNG buses due to the 10-year limitation of validity. Taking this news as a lead, this article conducted an overall review of the brief history of the development of CNG buses in Beijing, and provided a few of suggestion on practical operation of CNG buses as well.
