摘要
本文讨论了聚合物添加剂对Taylor-Couette流的流动稳定性的影响.根据溶液的粘弹特性,在无限长同心旋转圆柱间,可以把流体分为粘性层和弹性层两种层流状态.同时提出了一种简单的有效粘度模型,以探讨聚合添加剂抑制湍流的机理.以聚氧化乙烯水溶液为例,分析了其对流体层流失稳的影响,数值计算结果与前人的实验结果比较一致.
In this paper, the effect of dilute polymer solutions on flow instability in Taylor - Couette flow is discussed. Based on the visco- elastic of the solution, in infinity length concentric rotator cylinders, two laminar flow layers, viscous layer and elastic layer, are presented. Simultaneously, a simple model of effective viscosity to discuss the mechanism of drag reduction is given. As an example, the effect of polyethylene oxide (polyoxy WSR301) water solution on the stability is analyzed. The result is close to the experimental result.
