The microcapsule technology is one of the new technologies in the field of antiflaming.The purposes of making the flame retardant into microcapsules and its advantages over the traditional ones were introduced.Several suitable microcapsules for leather making flame retardant are introduced.In addition,the application prospects of microcapsule technology in the field of antiflaming was pointed out in this paper.
