On Inheritance and Innovation of the Guangxi Caidiao Opera

任何一种艺术表现形式都是通过传播完成其存在使命的。广西彩调剧的剧目在传播过程中,经过了前辈艺人的口口相传、师徒相授的承继阶段,在"变"中求发展的整理改编阶段,以及提升作品境界、丰富反映视角、发掘人之生命意义的创新阶段。

All forms of art exist through propagation. In the course of propagation, the plays of Guangxi Caidiao Opera has experienced three periods, i. e. , the period of teaching and learning between the masters and their apprentices as well as passing down from mouth to mouth and from generation to generation; the adaptation period in which the plays develop through changes; and also the innovation period in which the plays are further enriched, their capability of representing life is expanded, and the approaches to exploring the meaning of life are innovated.
