The author discussed spectral properties and some aspects concerning the Fredholm theory of a multiplier defined on a semisimple Banach algebra,and characterized multipliers which are Fredholm elememts relative to K M(A), the set of all compact multipliers on A ,and proved for some algebras A,Φ M(A)=Φ(A)∩M(A).
