The 0.5 Mt/a styrene unit at Dagu Chemical Plant had successfully on January 21, 2010 accepted ethylene feed delivered by the 1.0 Mt/a ethylene unit of the Tianjin Petrochemical Company and had been started up at the first attempt on January 22 to crank out qualified styrene product. This project is the first one put on stream for the first phase of construction of the Bohai Chemical Park, which has been nominated as the first key project among Tianjin＇s 20 major industrial projects.
