摘要
本研究采用定量分析的方法,调查了省内四所三本院校345名非英语专业学生听力策略的使用现状,结果发现:(1)河南省三本院校非英语专业学生的整体听力水平不高;语音,词汇和语速是影响该群体提高听力水平的最大障碍;(2)他们在听力学习过程中对各种听力策略的认识存在较大差异,且对使用不够有效。此结果对听力教学和策略教学有一定的指导意义。
This paper reports a study that investigates the situation of listening strategy use among three hundred and forty-five non-English majors in four Henan non-governmental colleges by means of quantitative method. The major findings are as follows: 1 ) their overall listening proficiency is not high, and pronunciation, vocabulary and speech rate pose three biggest obstacles to their listening improvement; 2) they have different understandings of various listening strategies employed in the process of English listening and their use is inadequately effective. This study has also pedagogical and practical implications.
