In recent years,with the rapid development of the modern paper industry,paper machine is growing greater. Due to the special environment and technology,tambour cranes are characteristic. This paper is a description how to design and what to do for ndustrial cranes in the paper mills. The experience of many projects in tambour use has been gathered here,which specifies the optium solution for the tambour crane. These ideas are valid in most of the cases,and are very suitable and effective for the crane management people and designers.
