摘要
以《三国演义》一百二十回的章回标题为语料,采用定量与定性相结合的分析方法讨论了中国古典小说章回标题翻译策略问题。结果发现:信息突显是章回标题翻译的首要翻译策略,但需同时兼顾标题的核心功能;原文信息结构的顺应处理需要辩证对待,不可忽略翻译策略选择的一致性。
The paper makes a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the translation strategies of chapter titles of Chinese classic novels based on the 120 pairs of chapter titles extracted from Three Kingdoms.The following suggestions have been made：first,the salience of information should be given first priority in title translation while the kernel function of titles considered;second,the structure of source information should be treated dialectically while keeping the consistency of translation strategies.
