A demonstration project of PetroChina's digitalized scale coalbed methane gas fields

中国石油华北油田公司1991年开始涉足煤层气勘探开发业务,经历了煤层气地质研究选区、直井小井组开发先导试验、羽状水平井开发先导试验和数字化规模化开发4个阶段,经过长期不懈努力和大规模投入,率先在国内建成了数字化规模化煤层气田示范工程。该示范工程以复杂山地、全覆盖和全过程自动化监控系统为主要特征,实现了规模化生产和商业化运营,所产煤层气通过处理中心和外输管道进入"西气东输"干网。该公司在煤层气勘探开发技术、地面工程低成本优化设计等方面积累了丰富经验,在践行采煤采气一体化、解决矿权重叠问题等方面创造了多种有效模式;编制了煤层气业务中长期发展规划,在勘探开发、科技攻关、市场利用、对外合作等方面确立了发展目标;不断扩大现有煤层气田生产规模、积极开拓下游市场建设,促进了山西省地方经济的发展,实现了互利双赢。

Since starting E & P of coalbed methane in 1991,the PetroChina's North China Oilfield Company has experienced four periods of CBM project development,including geological study of the selected area,pilot tests by small vertical wells,pilot tests by pinnate horizontal multilateral wells,and digitalized scale exploitation.Having made longstanding and unremitting efforts,this company has taken the lead in completing the demonstration project of a digitalized scale CBM gas field in China.In this project,a special automatic monitoring system,which can be used in complex mountainous regions with a full-area coverage during the whole development process,is adopted to achieve scale production and commercialized operation,and the produced CBM gas has entered into the West-East gas arterial pipelines through the processing centre and multi-purpose station pipelines.This company has gained a wealth of experience in E & P technologies and optimized design of low-cost ground engineering work,etc.from this CBM project,and has made achievements in coal and gas co-exploitation and solution of the overlapping mining rights.Moreover,this company has made medium-and long-term planning of CBM projects,setting goals in many aspects of E & P,scientific & technological problem tackling,market utilization,and external cooperation,etc.Following this developing trend,this company takes its advantage to increase its input,expand the production scale of the present CBM gas field,and develop the downstream markets.In this way,it will promote the development of local economy and society in Shanxi province.
