A Discussion on the Costruction of Modernization of Information and Documentation Work in Reference Rooms in New Period

作者就新时期下高校资料室资料管理的现代化问题谈了几点体会，认为高校资料人员应尽快改变默守成规的传统观念，抓紧资料室的现代化建设，从人员培训、软硬件配置、专业数据库开发及网络互联等方面着手，逐步实现资料室工作的现代化。

Abstract In this paper some problems of modernization about the administration of reference materials in reference rooms in colleges and universities are discussed.The author thinks that the reference rooms staff should change their conventional ideas as soon as possible and the construction of reference rooms should be gradually modernized by training the staff, providing software and hard ware equipment,and developing special data base and network.
