大学生对志愿活动的参与及影响因素——来自某高校抽样调查的发现

The Participation of University Students in Volunteering and Influencing Factors

利用对北京某高校的抽样调查数据,描述和分析了在校大学生参与志愿活动的基本情况和影响因素。研究发现,60%以上的大学生入校以来参与过志愿活动,参与的活动类型主要是环境保护、社区服务、为社会福利机构服务和支教活动等,主要服务对象是老年人、儿童、环境和资源以及城市社区居民等。参与志愿活动对大学生自身发展具有有益影响。从个人特征和父母特征两大维度看,学习成绩和以前参与状况等变量对大学生参与志愿活动具有显著的影响作用。

Using the data sampling from one university, this paper described and analyzed university students＇ volunteering participation and its influencing factors. We found that above 60 percent students participated volunteer activities after enrolling, which mainly included environmental protection, community service, working for welfare agency, and extension education, etc. They mostly worked for the elders, children, environment and resource, and urban residents. Volunteering is helpful to university students＇ development to some extent. We examined factors affecting university students＇ volunteering probability from both individual attributes and parental characteristics. It turned out that academic record and earlier volunteer experience have significant effects.
