Since taking office,President Obama has continued to pursue the Afghanistan-Pakistan strategy,which has resulted in some new developments in the regional situation in South Asia.In this process,the US has adjusted its policies towards India and Pakistan respectively,hoping to make a balanced relation among countries concerned.At the same time,relations among big powers in the region have tended to be delicate.As an important neighbor of Afghanistan and Pakistan,Iran continues to be the key factor affecting the regional situation in South Asia.The Afghanistan-Pakistan strategy will also affect to some extent the relations among big powers in Asia.
