摘要
为了对WCDMA网络中的软切换算法进行优化,提出了基于切换预测的位置信息辅助软切换算法。该算法以UTRA软切换算法为基础,根据移动台的不同位置信息进行软切换预测,然后对切换门限进行动态调整,进而可以提高系统性能。采用具体的仿真模型进行了仿真实验。仿真结果表明,与UTRA软切换算法相比,本文算法在MASN和AUSR性能指标上有较大的改善,并且能够维持稳定,从而提高了系统的资源利用效率。
To optimize the soft handover algorithm for WCDMA network,a new position assisted soft handover algorithm is proposed based on the forecast of handover. This algorithm is developed on the basis of the Universal Telecommunications Radio Access ( UTRA) soft handover algorithm. It forecasts the handover with different MS's position messages,and then adjusts the handover thresholds dynamically to improve the system performance. This algorithm is tested by simulation and results show significant improvement over the UTRA soft handover algorithm in terms of Mean active set number ( MASN) and Active set update rate ( ASUR) , which can be remained stable. Therefore,the new algorithm can improve the system efficiency.
